Personalized wishes and greetings that play.
Your words, a little surprise, one link.
Pick an occasion, add your message and share one link. They blow out the candles or shake the snow globe first, then your wish appears.
Happy birthday, Alex!
Happy birthday, Alex! Thank you for being part of my year. Eat the biggest slice.

What is Say Wishes?
Say Wishes is a free way to send a message that does something when it is opened. You pick an occasion, type your words and get one link. Your friend opens it and finds candles to blow out, a snow globe to shake or a wax seal to break, and your wish appears as the reward.
There is nothing to download and no account to make, for you or for them. Send the link by WhatsApp, text, email or however you usually say hello. We never store your message: it lives inside the link, and nowhere else.

Little surprises, ready to send
Every tool here is a tiny moment you can build in about a minute. The person you send it to gets to do something first, like blow out candles, shake a globe or wind a music box, and your words arrive as the reward.

How to send a wish that plays
- Pick a tool from the list above, or go straight to birthdays or Christmas and winter if you already know the occasion.
- Add their name, your name and your message. If the words will not come, every tool has a page of ready-made wishes, like these birthday wishes, to copy or drop straight in.
- Choose a style, then press Replay to watch it play exactly as they will see it.
- Copy the link and send it by WhatsApp, text or email. A wish plays when it is opened, not when it is sent, so you can line one up days early for the big day.
Questions people ask
What is Say Wishes?
Say Wishes is a free website for making interactive greetings. You write a message, pick a style and share one link. When someone opens it they play a small moment, like blowing out birthday candles or shaking a snow globe, and your message appears.
Can I personalize my greeting?
Yes. Every wish is personal: you add their name, your own message and a style, and the person you send it to sees it with their name on it. There are ready-made wishes if you need a starting point, and you can change every word.
Is it free, and do I need an account?
It is free and there is no sign-up for you or for the person you send it to. You write your wish, copy the link and send it.
Where does my message go?
Nowhere but the link. Your message is kept in the part of the link after the # sign, and browsers do not send that part to a website, as MDN explains. So Say Wishes never sees or saves your wish. Anyone who has the link can read it, so share it only with the person it is for.
Does it work on WhatsApp and phones?
Yes. The link opens in the browser on any modern phone or computer, so you can paste it into WhatsApp, Telegram, iMessage, email or a text. Nothing needs installing.
How does the other person open it?
Each tool has its own small gesture: blow on the phone to put out candles, shake or swipe a snow globe, press and hold a wax seal, scratch off foil, drag a star or wind a music box. There is always a button as a backup, so nobody gets stuck.
Which occasions can I send a wish for?
Right now: birthdays and Christmas and winter, including Christmas Eve, Santa letters, Secret Santa and a family music box card. More holidays and everyday cards are added as they are finished.
When should I send a Christmas wish?
Any day in December. The wish plays when it is opened and not when it is sent, so a link sent early still feels like a surprise. Christmas Day 2026 is Friday, 25 December, as listed in the UK bank holidays.
How long can my message be?
Up to 280 characters, about the length of a short post, plus a name of up to 30 characters. Short and warm usually lands best.
